CAPTIVE HINGE MANHOLE COVERS

CAPTIVE HINGE MANHOLE COVERS - FEB 2011

EJ presents a new range of captive hinged manhole covers.

The captive hinge is a desirable feature in flood prone areas; as it stops the cover from being washed away in the flood waters.

The hinged covers can pop open to release surcharges and as the surcharge level drops; the cover will lower itself back into the closed position.

Because the cover closes and seals off the manhole chamber again, it is also much safer for the clean-up / repair crews when they are out on the flooded streets and pathways.

These innovative and high quality products are manufactured by our group foundries at Norinco France and EJIW USA.

The range includes standard 600mm openings for stormwater (BRIO product) & sewer (SOLO product); as well as larger openings of 700 and 915mm.
