Brass Edged & Stainless Steel Edged Covers and Frames

Decorative edges such as brass and stainless steel can be applied to all Havestock gastight covers; with the obvious exception of circular covers.

Havestock specialises in the manufacture of decorative edged single part covers, greasetrap covers, multipart units and trench covers.

Havestock's decorative edged covers have been installed in the surrounds of:

Key Benefits

Decorative edges allow the access cover to be filled with decorative flooring materials such as Terrazzo, tiles, pavers, carpet & vinyl.

In these applications only the edges and the keyhole cap are visible at the completion of the job.

The addition of the EDGING & HEIGHT specifications can be applied to all Havestock covers (excluding circular covers, civil covers).

Size Considerations

The addition of edge strips slightly increases the clear opening and overall sizes of the cover and frame. Most edges are 3mm in width and therefore increase the listed sizes by 12mm (due to edges being placed on the cover and the frame, on both sides).

Installation

The correct installation is necessary to ensure the finished look meets the designed expectations. Decorative edged covers are an engineered cating and it must be treated with respect on the job site as they can be easily damaged if not stored or handled correctly.

Do not drag the cover against the frame.
Do not hit the edges with a foreign object (ie hammer).
Covers and frames must not be mismatched - they must stay as the same pair as they were delivered.
Edges may be greased to facilitate future removal.
