Multipart covers are made up from single part
covers, joined and supported by fully removable steel beams and are used when openings are
too large for a single row of access covers.
Covers
which join each other are seated on a common frame which is affixed to a removable steel
beam.
Covers
are supported at the perimeter by a permanently attached frame.
Covers are
removed in the one direction and must be installed back into their
original position.
Covers can be
removed for total or sectional access.
The supporting
beams are held in position be beam boxes which are cast into the permanent perimeter
framework. When full access is required, these beams can be easily slid from their box
housings.
